Rapid publication without delay
The time from submission to a decision being made on a paper can, in many journals, take some months and this is very frustrating for authors. We have one of the fastest turnaround times of any pharmaceutical publisher in the world. Generally peer review is complete within 3-5 weeks and the editor’s decision within 24 hours of this. It is therefore very rare to have to wait more than 6 weeks for a final decision.
Rigorous peer-review process
All the articles are reviewed by external referees/reviewers, apart from the review by the editors. Acceptance is based on significance, originality, and validity of the material. All manuscripts are anonymously (double-blind) reviewed by the external reviewers, who are identified by the JPB Science as the peer reviewers.
Author(s) own the copyrights to their published articles
Authors retain ownership of the copyright for their article, but undertake to allow anyone to copy, distribute, transmit and adapt the work provided the original work and source is appropriately cited under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License.
